ReplyDeleteFedor will never be the best p4p, all the ex ufc champs he beat were out of the UFC , why because they were losing and couldn't hang with the best so they got kicked out, he fought these guys when they were washed up like Tim Silvia for example. when he beat the other big names they were all very close fights, for example Nogueira. To be the best you have to fight the best, and fedor hasnt fought the best in a long time because he is afraid of Brock Lesnar and the talent that the UFC has right now. M1 knows that if he joins the UFC they wont be able to promote Fedor and piggy back off of other organizations like they have in the past, especially when he loses. For now fedor will continue to fight in the minor leagues while guys like GSP, Silva , Torres, and penn continue to fight the strongest and hardest opponents making them the best pound for pound fighters.

I agree that Fedor has beat several former UFC champs, but they were the best available at the time. The heavyweight division is the weakest of all the divisions by far. Right now, 6 of the top 10 heavyweights, in my opinion, are non-UFC fighters. Fedor was about to fight the #4 heavyweight (Josh Barnett). I agree that to be the best, you have to fight the best. That is why Lesnar or anyone else cannot be at the top. They haven't fought Fedor. Fedor is the best. Who else are the talented heavyweights in the UFC? Mir? Carwin? Velasquez? Fedor would beat all of them in the first round. You must know this! I agree with your M-1 point. They are in the way. They shouldn't be allowed to co-promote with the UFC. They haven't earned that. The UFC has worked too hard in promoting their brand to allow that. I agree. The UFC is the major leagues. You're right. Fedor should find a way to fight there. we will see how he does in strike force , I believe that he will lose to Bobby Lashely who closely resembles Brock Lesnar. The longer it takes for the Brock vs Fedor match to happen the less chances fedor has of winning because Brock will only get better every fight and its scary to think what he is capable of once he has 3 or 4 more matches under his belt, I think fedor should have signed with UFC , tried to beat Brock at least and that would have probably sealed his place in the history books if he would have won, now he left the door open for others to challenge his legacy.

Fedor wouldnt be able to walk over Mir, Brock, Couture, and Nog. Mir stopped Nog, something that Fedor could not do, and brock destroyed Mir, and Couture , Fedor does not have that on his reume yet, his last two fights were against a out of shape guy whoe recently got knocked out by a boxer in an exibition , and a guy who thinks he is sagat from street fighter doing a flying knee lol. (plus he was winning prior to that hahaha)
